Preparation of Ag Precursor Solution:
Dissolve 19.7 mM of silver nitrate (AgNO3) in 20 mL of ethanol or DMF.
Stir the solution continuously for 30 minutes using a magnetic stirrer to ensure complete dissolution.
In another beaker dissolve 0.1 M of HCL in DMF, then added it to the previous solution.
Dispersion and Hydrothermal Treatment:
Transfer the well-mixed solution into a Teflon-lined stainless-steel autoclave.
Heat the autoclave at 140°C for 1 hour to facilitate the formation of Ag NPs.
Purification and Drying Process:
Allow the autoclave to cool naturally to room temperature.
Wash the precipitate thoroughly with deionized water to remove impurities.
Use a centrifuge to separate the nanosheets.
Final Collection:
Collect the synthesized Ag NPs for further analysis and applications.
